Secrets are only dirty when we hide them, and embarrassing moments are only embarrassing when we try to pretend they never happened. Whatever the reason, be it Capitol inspired couture from The Hunger Games or Japanese pop culture, sugar-spun locks have taken the world’s stage in a whoosh of Care Bear colours. This latest craze in hair has been around the block a few times before, but never till now did we see so many iridescent heads bobbing around in our every day crowds. The mainstream runs thick with a tapestry of hues and it’s here to stay.
